As part of the deal, Lancaster has agreed to supply Arby’s Horsey Sauce and Arby’s Sauce products to retail channels in the United States and Canada. The agreement will include a limited launch of the products in select club stores in the United States starting in Lancaster’s fiscal first quarter ending Sept. 30, 2022. Broader distribution of the sauces in the US is expected in the company’s fiscal second quarter.

“We are very excited to add Arby’s Horsey Sauce and Arby’s Sauce to our growing licensing program,” said David A. Ciesinski, chief executive officer of Lancaster. “This new agreement is another example of how our culinary expertise, strong reputation and longstanding relationships in the foodservice channel combined with our demonstrated sales execution at retail will allow us to expand and grow our retail licensing platform.”

Sauce and dressing licensing programs have been a winning formula for Lancaster over the past several years, according to the company. In addition to Arby’s, Lancaster has licensing agreements with Chick-fil-A, Buffalo Wild Wings and Olive Garden. The company also recently has undergone expansions at some of its facilities to add packaging lines to support growing demand for dressings and sauces.
